Introduction to the United Kingdom
The United Kingdom consists of England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and Wales. In everyday speech, the term 'Great Britain' is often used to cover the entire United Kingdom. However, this is not entirely correct, since Northern Ireland is not part of Great Britain, but only part of the United Kingdom.
