A classic Agatha Christie novel where ten people have been invited to a mansion on an island. They all have something dark in their past. The original title (in 1939) was , which is also the title of a nursery rhyme. One by one, they are killed off in ways that resemble the events of the nursery rhyme. It is the best-selling mystery ever, and with good reason: It is really exciting! Ages 14 and up.

On Long Island, during the 1960s, a young boy and his brother try to solve the mystery of a prowler and, later, some missing people from the community. They do this by studying all their neighbours and by looking at a miniature version of the town in their basement. The people in the miniature version mysteriously move in a way that corresponds to reality. The creepy feeling is intensified by all the little details in the young boy's life, from his alcoholic mother to his not-so-pleasant classmates. Ages 14 and up.
