Key Differences in Pronunciation

Background
The main differences between British English and American English is accent and vocabulary. In relation to accent, the consonants 't' and 'r' are pronounced very differently. In American English, the 't' is often pronounced as a 'd' when it is in between vowels. The 'r' is pronounced strongly in American, but is often inaudible in British English.
